BATHROOM DESIGN INSPIRATION
One of the services we offer our clients is help with designs when it comes to product selection. We are in the fortunate position of having all material samples in house and we like to have fun using those materials in different combinations. We have gone so far as to feature ‘Inspiration Fridays’ on our Facebook page.
There are a few basic tricks we employ in our process:
1. Start with something you love, ie: a photo of a bathroom, a wallpaper, a tile, a towel …. Anything you just know you love.
2. Experiment putting that thing up to samples of floor tiles, shower surround tiles, cabinet finishes ….
3. Test your choice by putting up another example of the same element ie: floor tiles, shower surround… etc
4. Eliminate the one you like least.
5. Keep a few design principles in mind, such as contrasts, textures, patterns ….
6. Don’t be afraid to make a mistake when you’re experimenting, this is when you get to try everything!
You will find very quickly that this process of elimination and experimentation will create a design you love.
